We need a list of all the overlooked words, which are useful when constructing sentences! For example:

so
then
with
to
too
that/which
what
how
where
that (demonstrative)
but
all/everything
well/good

Do you know what I mean? It's all well and good having a list of nouns and adjectives, but with nothing to connect them together into a sentence, the Old Norse only board might remain a bit desolate!

Too (excessive degree: too much!) - Til
That/Which - Er
What - Hvat
How - Hversu
Where - Hvar

Feminine - Nom: sú, Acc: þá, Dat: Þeirri, Gen: þeirrar
Neuter - Nom: þat, Acc: þat, Dat: því, Gen: þess

But - En
All - Allt
Well - Vel
Good - Góðr, Góða, Gott (masc/fem/neut)

Odinn

But I think the Old Norse only forum may stay like that for a while. :P But I still thought it important to be there in case anybody just wanted to jump right into it... have a bash, no matter how bad their grammar is... because then people can correct the grammar, spelling etc... and then we all learn. Very Happy

What about auxiliary verbs? They're always useful Very Happy

I was thinking of using a simple Faroese conversation, but Old-Norsifying it if anyone wants to try and reply to it...
